Nathaniel Royal Skousen resides in Boise, Idaho. He is married with three children, ages 4 thru 2 months old. He enjoys pleine air painting in the mountains and rivers nearby, while fishing and hiking these remote areas of Idaho.
One of his favorite past-times, even more than painting, is Steelheading. In the fall and spring he can be found fly-fishing for these beautiful fish in Northern Idaho.
Perhaps even a greater passion, is fishing for Golden Trout, of which he as convinced his wife to hike 80-mile-round trips, to remote lakes and fished for up to 10 days, while recording in journals and with pictures their adventures.
