This painting took about an hour. It was my first outdoor painting. Del Parson told me to ‘Just go paint nature.’

This was my second plein air painting. Summit Creek, Utah Summer of 2002. There was a 12 inch rainbow trout swimming just below these falls. Strange how trout are not scared of you when your not fishing!
